Inspired by the legendary Tang Dynasty novel A Story of a Dream, Cooking A Dream explores the popular Chinese proverb that says that glory, honor, and wealth are nothing but shadows. This production is a mesmerizing fusion of traditional Chinese Opera elements and contemporary theatre. It premiered at the French Festival d’Avignon in 2011 with 24 performances and was well-received by audiences worldwide. Show time is 7.30pm on May 27 and 2pm on May 28.
