The first performance of the three-act opera "Der fliegende Holländer" dates back to 1843 in Dresden. It became the opera masterpiece of Wagner's creation towards maturity. The perfect fusion of vocals and orchestral music has realized the intertwined conflict of love and destiny in the plot. The dark and psychedelic music tone is mixed with subtle elegance. Conducted by Xu Zhong, renowned conductor, pianist and director of the Shanghai Opera House , this version is jointly produced by The Shanghai Opera House and the Erfurt Theater in Germany. Two nights only in May 20 and 21. Ticket price ranges from 180-880 rmb.
