About

While relatively young, Silence Ocean has been carrying the post-rock torch valiantly in Suzhou since their formation in 2019, chiseling away at their brand of hearty instrumental rock. That workmanship quality is front and center on the band’s robust debut ‘Beyond Time时间之外’ - a stirring microcosm of the emotional journey of the past few years relayed over seven tracks. While the hallmarks of the genre are ever present, it’s the melodic drive that allows the arrangements to stand on their own - one that makes the LP worth visiting again and again. The band is in the midst of a nationwide tour.
