Known for his distinctive sound, Hancock has recorded over sixty albums and won fourteen Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for "River: The Joni Letters." He also received an Oscar for his score to the film "Round Midnight," solidifying his status as a prominent figure in mainstream jazz.
Starting as a piano prodigy at age eleven with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Hancock was influenced by jazz greats like Oscar Peterson and Bill Evans. In the early 1960s, he joined Miles Davis's iconic jazz quintet, launching his career. After leaving Davis's band, Hancock achieved solo success with the album "Maiden Voyage" and created the influential "Headhunters" band, known for the hit track "Chameleon."

James Genus
James Genus is a renowned international bassist, skilled in both upright and electric bass. He has collaborated with top artists across various genres, including jazz and pop. Genus is widely recognized for his role as a member of the band on NBC's "Saturday Night Live."
During his university years, Genus studied intensively with jazz pianist Ellis Marsalis, earning his recognition through exceptional talent. His career has also included notable collaborations with influential members of the Marsalis family, including Branford and Wynton Marsalis.
Lionel Loueke
Lionel Loueke has carved out a unique and innovative place in contemporary and music history with his distinctive talent. Praised by Jazz Times for his personalized style, extraordinary rhythmic sense, and solid harmonic foundation, Loueke has also won the DownBeat Critics’ Poll for two consecutive years.
Known for blending complex harmonies, vibrant melodies, a deep understanding of African music, and a mix of traditional and innovative guitar techniques, Loueke creates a warm and compelling sound. He is also a member of the renowned Blue Note 75th Anniversary All-Star Band.
Jaylen Petinaud
At just 25 years old, Jaylen Petinaud has emerged as a prominent drummer and composer in the music world. He has toured with jazz and music masters such as Herbie Hancock, Kenny Garrett, Theo Croker, and Keyon Harrold, and contributed to the creation of Alicia Keys' Broadway musical Hell's Kitchen.
Petinaud is proficient in jazz, gospel, pop, classical, hip-hop, and R&B. His unique playing style and techniques infuse music with soul, blending global music elements with contemporary funk to create highly innovative melodies.
