The Talking Bar English and Chinese Corner is a space for students interested in learning more about the Chinese language and culture. Weekly meetings will focus on practicing speaking, listening, and reading in Chinese, as well as exploring Chinese history, culture, and traditions. Activities include speaking practice in various contexts such as everyday conversations, job interviews, and presentations; listening exercises to improve comprehension; and learning about Chinese history and traditions through presentations, discussions, and field trips. Materials used will include Chinese textbooks and workbooks.
