The Abbott World Marathon Majors is the largest, most prestigious, and most influential marathon series in the world, showcasing not only the ultimate test of speed and endurance for runners but also a vibrant celebration of cultural exchange and city charm. This year, the full marathon will see an increase in participants, rising from 20,000 last year to 23,000, while the fitness run will host 15,000 people. The finish lines for both events will remain the same as last year, set at Xujiahui Sports Park and the Shanghai Exhibition Center.
