Fiji Blue draws influences from both the East and West Coasts while creating music with a global appeal. Lead vocalist and songwriter Trevor Dering, born in Phoenix and a 2019 graduate of Berklee College of Music, moved to Los Angeles, where the duo’s signature blend of bedroom pop, indie, house, chill, and R&B took shape. In 2022, their growing popularity was bolstered by a Southeast Asia tour, inclusion in Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist, and recognition from Ones To Watch. Their debut album, Glide, which explores themes of love and loss through introspective lyrics and calming melodies, has accumulated over 300 million streams on Spotify and 20 million views on YouTube.
