“Goldfish” is an immersive theatre production presented by Terrapin in collaboration with Japanese artists Kouhei Narumi and Ayami Sasaki, scheduled to be performed at the Singtel Waterfront Theatre at Esplanade. The narrative begins conventionally but soon transitions into a dynamic scenario where the theatre transforms into an emergency centre amid a flood warning. Everyday objects are ingeniously repurposed—blue tarps simulate the ocean, canned food becomes walls, and rice bags serve as barriers against rising waters. This inventive use of set design and puppetry invites audiences to explore themes of adaptability and imagination in the face of uncertainty. The production is recommended for viewers aged 8 and above, with an admission age of 6.
