Shanghai’s highest open-air observation deck is hosting nightly Peking Opera flash performances starting this September, presenting excerpts from classics such as The Drunken Concubine and Ode to the Pear Blossom 320 meters above the city. Performances take place at 7pm during sunset and 8:30pm as neon lights appear, with artists in full costume performing three-minute segments against the skyline. Guests can experience the combination of traditional vocals, dynamic movements, and city views, accompanied by themed cocktails and a limited-edition folding fan, creating a brief, immersive moment high above Shanghai.
