Summer Palace, the Michelin-recommended Cantonese restaurant at Jing An Shangri-La, Shanghai, introduces an exciting new a-la-carte menu, curated by Executive Chinese Chef James Hu. From now on, guests can explore over 100 unique delicacies, carefully crafted to embody Chef Hu’s philosophy that "flavor is the soul of a dish, and ingredients are its foundation." Drawing from his two decades of experience, the menu blends the purity of Cantonese cooking with local Shanghainese nuances and seasonal ingredients.
Signature dishes include refreshing appetizers like Fresh Conch Slices tossed with Sauce and the deeply flavorful Simmered Giant Grouper and Conch Soup with Pepper. For those craving more traditional fare, Braised Goose Web with Dried Shiitake Mushrooms and Shrimp Roe in Clay Pot offers a rich and comforting experience, while the elevated barbecue options such as Deep-fried Golden Salty Fragrant Chicken and Lemongrass Crispy Pigeon provide a delightful crunch.
