When a sock mysteriously disappears from the laundry line, two friends set off on a playful adventure to find it. Their search leads them through a washing machine into a fantastical world where everyday clothes transform into surprising creatures and characters. Lost in Laundryland is a charming visual performance that combines object theatre, puppetry, magic, circus, and dance to turn ordinary household items into an imaginative stage universe.
On a stage filled with crisscrossing clotheslines, two friends are busy hanging up their laundry. Suddenly, a piece of clothing disappears. Determined to find out where missing socks go, the pair decide to investigate and climb into a washing machine.

Their search leads them into a strange and colorful universe filled with surprising creatures and playful transformations. Everyday objects begin to shift form: clothing, fabric, and household items combine and reappear as imaginative characters. A pair of shorts and a row of socks, for example, suddenly become a moving dinosaur.

The performance is inspired by the photographic works of British artist Helga Stentzel. By manipulating clothing and fabric, the performers create constantly changing visual scenes where objects appear, disappear, and transform. Magic techniques, puppetry, circus elements, and dance all contribute to bringing these objects to life on stage.

Without spoken language, the show tells its story through movement, visual imagery, and playful physical interaction.
This 55-minute non-verbal performance uses familiar household objects to build a playful and imaginative world on stage. With visual storytelling, puppetry, and physical performance, it offers an accessible theatre experience suitable for audiences aged four and up.
