Minimal techno night that starts with a lock-in listening session from 9pm-10pm curated by NYU Shanghai professor and author, Anna Greenspan (Director of the Center of AI and Culture; Professor in the Interactive Media Arts Program), followed by a party from 10pm-late with two of Shanghai's core DJs, Sam TBD and Empress CC. For the listening session on a rug upstairs, they're playing selections from John Foxx's "The Quiet Man", a collection of short stories written over forty years by musician, composer, and long-term studio collaborator, John Foxx. No entry between 9pm-10pm so arrive early if you want to join the listening sesh. Entry is free but as per Roam's new policy, purchase of one drink is required for entry to the third floor where the dance takes place.
