Shanghai-based promo crew Knot launches its first event at its new Shanghai home, C Park's Illum Club, which is one of the freshest places to open in a long time. Headlining the night is Cam Girl, a fixture of the LA underground known for high-energy sets that blur the lines of electronic dance music. Some might call it “New EDM”. She's doing a live set and DJ set, and the night also has DJ Stoleyourbae, the South Korea-based producer formerly known as DJ 小男孩 and the founder of the online label FAR EAST SCALA (aka DJ Little Boy), bringing a chaotic, anything-goes take on club sounds. Support from Bab, Kilo Vee, and Toyn. Should be a great night of bangin club music on a proper soundsystem.
