About the Artists

Peter Lodahl – Tenor

Recognized as one of the most prominent Scandinavian tenors of his generation, Lodahl has performed across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He transitions seamlessly from lyrical to dramatic and spinto tenor roles. Notable achievements include OPUS Klassik nominations in 2020, performances at major opera houses and festivals worldwide, and recordings for Deutsche Grammophon, EMI Classics, and DECCA. He has also held leadership roles, including Artistic Director of Copenhagen Opera Festival and CEO of Copenhagen Phil.

JunPing Qian – Conductor

A 90s-born international conductor, Qian trained at the Berlin Hans Eisler and Curtis Institute of Music. He has won multiple international conducting competitions and held positions with orchestras worldwide, including assistant conductor roles at the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and Paris Orchestra. Recent highlights include debuts with BBC Symphony Orchestra, China National Symphony Orchestra, and major international festivals.

FUXIN Chamber Philharmonia ZJCM

Founded in 2022 under Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, this professional Chinese chamber orchestra is composed of top domestic and international musicians. The ensemble performs under the artistic direction of JunPing Qian, producing nearly 100 performances since its founding and collaborating with internationally renowned artists.
