LA TORMENTA (The Storm) is a visual theatre and puppetry performance by Zero en Conducta. Through movement, puppetry, and minimal dialogue, it follows a boy learning how to cry in order to move through his emotions. The show blends physical theatre and dance into a poetic, visually driven experience.
LA TORMENTA (The Storm) is a puppetry and visual theatre work centered on a simple yet symbolic story. A cloud hangs over Pablito’s head, preventing him from seeing light, dancing, or expressing himself. He understands that for the cloud to disappear, it must first rain.

The performance follows this quiet “neighborhood odyssey,” where the central character does not seek adventure or conquest, but instead tries to learn how to cry. Through this journey, the piece reflects on emotional release and the idea that calm follows after the storm.

Blending puppetry, physical theatre, and movement, the show creates a visual language that communicates across age groups and cultural backgrounds.

Zero en Conducta, founded in Barcelona in 2011, focuses on movement-based theatre, combining mime, dance, puppetry, and physical theatre into a unified style.

This is a visually driven performance that explores emotional expression through simple storytelling and physical language. With minimal reliance on spoken text and supported by surtitles, it’s accessible to a wide audience, including those new to theatre. The focus on vulnerability and emotional release gives the piece a clear thematic core, while its use of puppetry and movement creates a distinctive stage experience.
