A lighter, entry-level version of the Odin-inspired workshop lands in Shanghai on March 21–22, led by Roberta Carreri, a longtime performer and core member of Odin Teatret. Designed as a two-day introduction (two hours each afternoon), the sessions focus on developing a “physical score” — starting from basic body and attention work, then gradually building into coordinated movement, voice, and interaction. Saturday looks at constructing structured actions from small gestures, while Sunday shifts into partner work and energy dynamics, exploring how movement changes through interaction. Open to beginners but still rooted in Carreri’s decades of practice, it’s less about performance and more about tuning into the body, breaking habits, and trying out a different way of working. English with Chinese translation, capped at 30 people.
