Why Go

This is less about spectacle and more about atmosphere. It’s the kind of show where the setting matters just as much as the music—dim lights, close seating, and a band that leans into the space rather than overpowering it. Billie Holiday’s songs are already familiar to many, but hearing them reworked live, with room for improvisation, gives them a different kind of weight. It’s a good pick for a relaxed night out, especially if the idea of pairing live jazz with dinner or drinks sounds more appealing than sitting through a formal concert.
