Released in 2011, What Did You Expect from The Vaccines? quickly established The Vaccines as one of the UK's most talked-about new guitar bands. Featuring songs such as If You Wanna and Post Break-Up Sex, the album became one of the UK's best-selling records of the year and remains an important work in British indie rock.

Fifteen years later, The Vaccines are bringing the album back to China for an anniversary tour. Audiences can expect a complete live performance of the debut record alongside other classic tracks from the band's career.

Formed in London, The Vaccines built their sound from influences spanning 1950s rock 'n' roll, garage rock, punk, hardcore, and pop music. Across six studio albums, the band has continued to evolve while maintaining their signature combination of direct songwriting, memorable hooks, and energetic live performances.

From Come of Age (2012) and English Graffiti (2015) to Combat Sports (2018), Back in Love City (2021), and Pick-Up Full of Pink Carnations (2024), The Vaccines have explored new musical directions while returning time and again to the guitar-driven sound that first brought them international recognition.

The current lineup consists of Justin Hayward-Young (vocals/guitar), Arni Arnason (bass), Timothy Lanham (guitar/keyboards), and Yoann Intonti (drums).

Frontman Justin Hayward-Young previously performed as folk musician Jay Jay Pistolet before forming The Vaccines. The band's music draws inspiration from artists including The Ramones, The Smiths, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and The Libertines.

Over the years, The Vaccines have performed at major festivals including Reading & Leeds and Glastonbury, building a reputation as an acclaimed live act whose performances are defined by singalong choruses and high-energy sets.
