Description

This April, TNT Theatre returns to Shanghai for a four-day workshop led by Thomas Richards, designed not to train “better actors” but to awaken living, responsive human beings. Across four days, participants will explore voice, movement, and presence, working with traditional African and Caribbean songs as vehicles to connect deeply with the body and energy. The workshop emphasizes breaking habitual patterns, tuning into spontaneity, and experiencing performance as a full-bodied, immersive act of being alive. Open to actors, writers, directors, dancers, or anyone curious about exploring life and presence, this is less about technique and more about finding your personal connection to sound, movement, and attention.
