Mosh Space gets riotous tonight with a trio of acts with a penchant for red-blooded rock and roll theatrics. You’ve got Wuhan’s The Hospital, who traverse across various musical landscapes with conviction and a hefty foundation of 80s art rock, 90s alt rock, and psychedelic pop. Also on hand are Shanghai psychedelic sound explorers Weather King, whose pop sensibilities bubble just beneath the surface of their shifting, jazzy, playful brand of psych pop. Finally, there’s L'etranger - a fresh name to me - who blend post-punk, Britpop, reggae, and post-rock. Sleeper gig of the week.
