The Designer will support project teams in the production of architectural design deliverables throughout multiple project phases. This role focuses on building strong foundations in design, documentation, and project delivery while collaborating closely with Project Managers and Senior Designers. Responsibilities include assisting with concept design, design development, and construction documentation, as well as providing administrative and coordination support to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on schedule.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of design deliverables including field surveys, concept design renderings, exhibits, preliminary plans, and project specifications.
• Develop working knowledge of concept design, design development, and construction documentation, including floor plans, elevations, sections, interior documentation, schedules, detailing, and specifications.
• Provide administrative support for project teams, such as preparing meeting agendas and minutes, updating project trackers, and generating design logs.
• Collaborate on project programming and contribute to original concept design development as directed by the Project Manager or Senior Designer.
• Research and explore project materiality with consideration of durability, aesthetics, and sustainable design factors, including embodied carbon data.
• Conduct design research using a wide range of benchmarking sources to support ideation and design development.
• Produce accurate, timely work in line with weekly work plans, demonstrating an understanding of design intent and project budget requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
• Licensed professional certification preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of project design, documentation, and delivery standards.
• Proficiency in Revit (required), SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with visualization and design tools such as SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, and Enscape.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
