Description
- Serve as a key leader in projects, taking on responsibilities akin to a project manager or lead designer.
- Design high-end residential communities, resorts, golf courses, commercial landscapes, public spaces, and tourism/scenic area planning.
- Lead, supervise, and guide subordinate landscape designers to achieve project goals, ensuring efficiency and collaboration throughout the design process.
- Collaborate with clients to define project objectives, develop design plans, and establish project workflows according to client requirements.
- Deliver high-quality, innovative landscape solutions and professional services across various project types.
- Develop landscape design plans, solve technical challenges within project scope, and provide creative solutions.
- Independently evaluate projects and make adjustments based on standard landscape architectural principles.
- Integrate complete landscape schemes, including concept design, preliminary design, and detailed design stages.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field; Master’s degree in Landscape Design preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in landscape design, including at least 2 years in team leadership; experience at large design institutes preferred.
- Extensive experience in high-end residential, resort, golf, commercial/public space, and tourism/scenic landscape design projects.
- Strong design and visualization skills, including hand-drawn sketches.
- Proficiency in conceptual, schematic, and detailed design, as well as plant configuration.
- Knowledge of plant materials, hardscape construction techniques, and architectural material standards and regulations.
- Collaborative, passionate, and capable of overseeing full landscape schemes and design effects.
- Strong software skills: MS Office, 3ds Max, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Highly creative, with the ability to independently lead teams to efficiently complete all stages of landscape design.
- Hands-on capability to manage overall design and coordination tasks (concept design, CAD, modeling, Photoshop, etc.).
