Key Responsibilities
Retouching and Image Quality
- Retouch a wide range of content, including product, model, apparel, jewellery, cosmetics, food, electrical items, and homeware.
- Apply colour correction, cut-outs, cleanup, and other Photoshop retouching tasks to meet client standards.
- Perform quality checks on your work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client guidelines.
- Maintain high colour consistency between the image and the physical product.
Workflow and File Management
- Name and format digital asset files according to each client’s requirements.
- Organise, store, and maintain files on the studio server.
· Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with photographers, stylists, and the wider studio team to ensure retouching requirements are understood and delivered.
- Communicate progress clearly, and support the team with any other tasks assigned by management.
Reporting
- Report to the Senior Image Editor and Studio Manager on weekly and monthly production volumes, and estimated delivery dates for projects or batches of work.
Requirements
- Native Chinese speaker, English communication skills are preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong technical proficiency in Adobe Photoshop; other Adobe software is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of visual quality.
- Interest in fashion and eCommerce content is a plus.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick learner who can follow international brand guidelines and retouching standards.
- Proactive, organised, and a strong team player.
- Comfortable using Excel for basic tracking and organisation.
- Experience with fashion or e-commerce editing is beneficial, especially for non-junior candidates.
Interview Process
- Candidates invited to interview should bring a CV and portfolio.
- A practical retouching test will be completed on the day of the interview to demonstrate technical skills and attention to detail.
