Description
- Manage the gallery’s Chinese social media accounts and create content to support promotional strategies and event coverage.
- Prepare social media materials, coordinate the shooting and editing of images and videos for online use.
- Assist with communication and coordination with external media.
- Compile and translate artist information, maintain the social media calendar, write copy, and help expand the gallery’s reach.
- Support exhibition projects, including researching artists and artworks, preparing exhibitions, and assisting with opening events.
- Complete ad hoc tasks on time and provide other support as required by the team and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Media, Design & Art, Literature, History, or related fields.
- Familiarity and passion for contemporary art, with solid understanding of domestic and international social media trends and operations.
- At least 1 year of experience in new media operations.
- Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English. Experience in writing or studying abroad is preferred.
- Proficient in Office software, image/video editing software (e.g., Photoshop), and layout tools such as Xiumi.
- Strong initiative, resource integration skills, ability to collaborate across disciplines, and proactive in implementing new strategies.
