Description
• Lead the overall visual direction for both print and digital editions of the magazine, including layout design, cover concepts, image selection, and art direction
• Develop and maintain the magazine’s design guidelines and visual identity system, ensuring consistency with brand tone and editorial content
• Oversee the full design workflow for each issue, including layouts, infographics, illustrations, covers, and final production files
• Manage and mentor the design team, assign tasks, and ensure quality and deadlines are met
• Collaborate closely with the Editorial Director and Fashion/Beauty Directors to translate editorial ideas into strong visual storytelling
• Supervise printing and digital publishing processes, including color proofing, paper selection, and production details
• Explore new visual formats such as motion layouts and interactive digital publications to enhance innovation
Requirements
• 8+ years of graphic design experience, with at least 5 years in a fashion or lifestyle media/design management role
• Strong visual sensibility and advanced layout skills
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools
• Solid understanding of print production, paper materials, and pre-press processes
• Proven experience leading full magazine design projects
• Strong team management skills and ability to guide and inspire designers
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight editorial deadlines
• Plus: Experience in illustration, motion design, or digital publication design is preferred
