Description
The FTChinese editorial team is looking for an Audio Intern to join its audio team. The intern will support news research, editorial planning, reporting, and audio production.
- Discover news topics, conduct research, organize background information, and assist editors with writing and reporting.
- Participate in topic development and reporting for the editorial team's audio programs.
- Assist with the editing, production, and maintenance of audio programs. Candidates with a suitable voice may also have opportunities to host.
- Take part in a wide range of editorial and reporting projects, with support and resources.
Requirements
- Strong ability to quickly collect and organize information, conduct independent research, and write clearly.
- Able to commit to a 4–5 month internship. Hybrid/remote work is available, with candidates in East Asian time zones preferred.
- Strong Chinese and English communication skills, with an interest in financial news and the media industry.
- Strong learning ability and basic audio and video editing skills.
- Current university students only. Students majoring in journalism and communications, economics and business, literature, law, or related fields are preferred.
- The position is based in Beijing. Students studying outside Beijing should be prepared to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses if they are required to work from the office.
