Description
- Support daily gallery operations, including opening checks, lighting and equipment inspections, artwork condition checks, material restocking, closing procedures, and maintaining a safe and comfortable visitor environment.
- Welcome visitors, clients, guests, and partners, including registration, inquiries, gallery guidance, tours, and handling calls and emails.
- Assist the gallery director with daily tasks, including scheduling, meetings, documents, archives, and external communication.
- Support exhibition production and execution, including installation, deinstallation, opening events, and coordination with artists and curators.
- Assist with basic artwork management, including inventory checks, artwork transfers, records, and photo documentation.
- Support exhibition promotion and audience engagement, including exhibition labels, guide materials, WeChat, Xiaohongshu, and other content operations.
- Assist with budgets, contracts, reimbursements, purchasing, and other administrative tasks.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the gallery director.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Art History, Curating, Museum Studies, Cultural Industries, Design, Media, or related fields are preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in museums, galleries, art institutions, or cultural and creative industries is preferred; outstanding fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good aesthetic sense and writing skills, with a genuine interest in art and cultural content.
- Proficient in Office software; skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, video editing, or Xiaohongshu operations are a plus.
- Able to adapt to flexible working schedules during exhibition installation and opening periods.
