Description
Staff:
- Develop/maintain strong working relationships with key business decision makers throughout the year to communicate value and inform them of the firm's scope of services
- Provide guidance/expertise and participate in the performance of audit procedures, especially focusing on complex and/or specialized issues
- Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments. Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact on the client
Senior:
- Support the planning, execution, and delivery of assurance engagements
- Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
- Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
- Build strong internal relationships within Ernst & Young Assurance and across other services
- Coach, supervise, and conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff
- Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting and retaining assurance professionals
- Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills of all staff
- Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures
Requirements
- An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting and/or other appropriate academic major, as well as CPA certification
- Approximately 1-2 years (for Staff), 3-5 years (for Senior) of experience as an auditor for a public accounting firm, or business/industry experience to meet special needs
- Pass 2 papers of CICPA (for Senior)
- A holder of CICPA or AICPA is a definite advantage
- High or top performers in international accounting firms (preferred)
- Computer / Data analytical skills will be a plus
- Has no record of administrative penalties from regulators
