We are seeking an experienced and responsible tutor to provide in-person instruction in AP Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus (BC level) for a high school student.

The tutor will:

• Teach AP Pre-Calculus concepts and gradually transition into AP Calculus BC
• Help the student review and make up previously missed math content to reach the appropriate level
• Assign ~1 hour of homework after each session
• Begin each lesson by reviewing homework and correcting mistakes
• Provide structured, step-by-step guidance to build strong mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills

Additional Notes: This is a private, one-on-one tutoring position, not affiliated with any institution or company. Classes will take place in a public setting (Shanghai Library, Pudong Branch). Long-term commitment is preferred.

• Strong proficiency in English instruction (teaching will be conducted in English)
• Solid knowledge of: AP Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus BC
• Minimum 3 years of teaching or tutoring experience (preferred)
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to the student’s pace
• Patient, responsible, and organized
