Position Summary
Responsible for delivering PE lessons to students from Grades 6 to 9, ensuring classes are safe, well-organized, and engaging. Design and integrate curriculum content based on the Cambridge International Curriculum framework, considering the physical and psychological development and actual motor abilities of different age groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality physical education lessons, focusing on fundamental skills, fitness, and teamwork across a range of middle school sports.
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment by strictly enforcing safety protocols during all activities, including ball games, gymnastics, and athletics.
- Leverage personal sports expertise to lead and coach school teams, guiding students in competitive training and interschool events.
- Develop and lead Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) programs that extend students' sporting interests beyond the regular curriculum.
- Actively participate in school sports days and student arts and sports events to promote student engagement and school spirit.
- Foster positive values, including sportsmanship, discipline, and respect, contributing to a strong school culture. Organize and actively participate in sports days, house competitions, and diverse events to promote student engagement and school spirit.
- Assess student progress regularly, offering constructive feedback to support individual growth and long-term athletic development.
- Maintain and manage sports equipment and facilities, ensuring all resources are used safely and responsibly.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements
Essential
Experience teaching in Chinese bilingual schools or international primary and middle schools
Preferred
- Experience in the classroom and student management
- Experience with an international curriculum
- International or cross-cultural teaching experience
