 Position Summary 

Responsible for delivering Science lessons to middle school students (Grades 6–9), ensuring classes are engaging, well-structured, and academically rigorous. Design and implement curriculum aligned with international frameworks such as A Level, IB, or AP, while supporting students’ scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and conceptual understanding.

 Key Responsibilities 

• Plan and deliver a coherent Science teaching program, with a focus on Physics and/or Chemistry.
• Design and adapt lessons based on international curricula (e.g., A Level, IB, AP), with consideration of lower secondary frameworks such as Key Stage 3, IGCSE, or MYP.
• Create an engaging and inquiry-based classroom environment that promotes scientific thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Lead and uphold student conduct and behavior standards, fostering a positive and respectful school culture.
• Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing timely and constructive feedback to support academic growth.
• Ensure all laboratory activities are conducted safely, maintaining proper use and management of equipment and materials.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary projects, and school activities.
• Participate in school events, academic enrichment programs, and extracurricular activities as required.

Candidate Requirements 

Essential

Experience teaching in Chinese bilingual schools or international primary and middle schools

Preferred

• Experience in the classroom and student management
• Experience with an international curriculum
• International or cross-cultural teaching experience
