We’re looking for friendly, outgoing guides to lead 2-and-a-half-hour street food walking tours in Shanghai. You’ll take small groups through local food areas, introduce them to authentic dishes, and create a fun, social experience.

What you’ll do:

• Lead 2-hour and 30-minute street food tours in central Shanghai
• Share insights about local food, culture, and neighborhoods 
• Create a welcoming, engaging atmosphere for guests
• Help guests navigate and enjoy different street food spots

• This role is ideal as a side gig or for freelancers 
• Licensed guides are welcome; however, this is not required
• Training/onboarding will be provided to help you get started

Who we’re looking for:

• Fluent English speaker (other languages are a plus)
• Friendly, reliable, and comfortable speaking to small groups
• Passion for food and local culture
• Previous guiding, hospitality, or customer-facing experience is a plus (not required)
• Good knowledge of Shanghai’s food scene (or willingness to learn quickly) and Yunnan South Road

• Details & compensation Pay: 180 RMB per 2-hour and 30-minute tour
• Schedule: Flexible (evenings and weekends needed too)
• Type: Freelance / per-tour basis
• Payment: Monthly, paid at the end of each month upon receipt of invoice (fapiao preferred if possible)
