Description
- Act as a strategic People & Culture partner, working closely with the business to provide organizational and talent insights that support company growth.
- Understand the education industry business model, including customer lifecycle, teacher development systems, and organizational needs.
- Support organizational structure design, role definition, and future team development.
- Build and optimize compensation and performance management systems aligned with business goals.
- Develop talent strategies, including agile recruitment systems, talent reviews, succession planning, and key position development.
- Support leadership development by helping managers transition from individual contributors to effective team leaders.
- Design and implement employee experience initiatives, including onboarding, team connection activities, company events, and culture-building programs.
- Create engagement strategies for remote team members to strengthen communication and connection across locations.
Requirements
- Experience in designing and implementing compensation and performance systems, beyond day-to-day HR operations.
- Experience working in small or medium-sized organizations (under 200 employees) with the ability to adapt to flexible and resource-conscious environments.
- Background in HR roles within education institutions, K12 schools, universities, or education technology companies is preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate successful culture initiatives and their impact on employee experience.
- Strong business understanding with the ability to approach people-related decisions from an organizational and operational perspective.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to evaluate people decisions from both cost and business perspectives.
- Experience in a smaller education company, HR leadership role, business role, teaching role, or entrepreneurial environment is a plus.
