Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated IoT Intern to join our team. The role involves deploying and maintaining IoT integration for workshop equipment and sensors, as well as developing and optimizing IoT platforms. You will be responsible for sensor deployment, edge computing node setup, and device networking. The role also requires you to develop customized IoT applications for production challenges such as process quality, energy management, and predictive maintenance, and help drive their factory-wide implementation. Collaborating with manufacturing, IT, and automation teams, you will also contribute to the creation of IoT technology standards and provide training to on-site staff on using IoT digital tools.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Automation, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in industrial protocols like MQTT and OPC UA, with PLC programming skills. Familiarity with platforms such as EMQX, Node-RED, InfluxDB, and Grafana.
- Industry Experience: Experience in automotive or discrete manufacturing industries, and knowledge of PLC control systems (Siemens, Rockwell) and SCADA system integration.
- Hardware Knowledge: Understanding of industrial sensor selection, edge gateway configuration, and network topology design, with fault diagnosis ability at the equipment level.
- Soft Skills: Excellent cross-department communication skills, the ability to translate production requirements into technical solutions, and the ability to work under pressure and respond quickly.
