Description
This internship will start in mid-January (based on actual dates if applying) 2025 at the European Chamber Shanghai Office. The internship should last for 4-6 months, with weekly attendance of 3 to 5 working days.
Events:
- Assist in all stages of event planning and execution, encompassing small to large-scale seminars, hybrid events, conferences, and training courses.
- Assist in researching topics and speakers, drafting proposals, promoting the event, and handling logistical arrangements;
Membership:
- Support membership renewal campaigns and maintain the membership database.
Marketing:
- Contribute to the layout and content creation for WeChat and newsletters;
- Other duties as required by the Events/Membership Managers
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. Foreign applicants are required to hold a valid visa allowing him/her to take an internship in China.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Background in languages, marketing, communications, international business, and international relations preferred;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability of fast learning quickly, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
