Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Sales Manager – Global Business Development to expand our client base across Europe, the Middle East, and other key international markets.
This is a consultative B2B sales role, not transactional selling. The successful candidate will develop long-term relationships with senior decision-makers and position China i2i Group as a strategic partner for China market entry and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and develop new global business opportunities for China-focused services
- Prospect and engage hotels, destinations, retail brands, universities, healthcare groups, and other international organizations
- Present and position China i2i Group’s integrated service portfolio (social media, PR, trade marketing, conferences, business development platforms)
- Conduct a consultative needs analysis and tailor solutions accordingly
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships
- Manage the full sales cycle: outreach, proposal development, negotiation, closing, and follow-up
- Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences (e.g., ITB, WTM, Arabian Travel Market, etc.)
- Collaborate internally with marketing and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Maintain CRM records and meet agreed sales targets
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record in B2B sales and business development (minimum 5 years preferred)
- Experience in consultancy-based or solution-based selling
- Strong understanding of international business environments
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to engage senior-level executives and decision-makers
- Self-driven, disciplined, and target-oriented
- Experience in travel, hospitality, destination marketing, or China-related business is highly advantageous
