Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to grow our portfolio of hotel, destination, and travel clients. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and selling integrated China market solutions, including:

  • China social media programs
  • Business development services
  • Events and workshops (CVS)
  • PR and digital campaigns

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and secure new clients across hotels, destinations, and travel services
  • Generate leads through outreach, networking, LinkedIn, and industry events
  • Present and sell China market solutions tailored to client needs
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing

Client Relationship Management

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
  • Understand client objectives and align i2i services accordingly
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention

Commercial Strategy

  • Contribute to sales strategy and market positioning
  • Provide feedback on product development and pricing
  • Support the development of proposals and commercial offers

Event & Platform Sales

  • Sell participation in the China Visitors Summit (CVS) and related events 
  • Promote additional i2i platforms, including social media and PR services
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure delivery and performance

Requirements

  • 3–8+ years of experience in sales, hospitality, travel, or tourism-related industries
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, lead generation, and closing deals
  • Strong understanding of the global travel industry; knowledge of the China outbound market is a major advantage
  • Experience working with hotels, tourism boards, DMCs, airlines, or travel services
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop and deliver commercial proposals and sales presentations
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a target-oriented environment
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with international teams
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, etc.) are a plus
  • Comfortable using LinkedIn, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms for outreach and sales

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience selling marketing, media, events, or digital solutions
  • Existing network within the hospitality or travel industry
  • Understanding of China social media platforms (WeChat, RED, Douyin)
  • Experience attending or working with international trade shows and workshops (ITB, WTM, etc.)
