Description
MB Projects is seeking a bilingual Social Media Account Manager to join its Communication and Social Media team and contribute to digital communication projects for foreign cultural institutions and creative industry clients across Chinese social media platforms.
We welcome applications from beginners as well as junior to early mid-level profiles, provided candidates demonstrate strong motivation, curiosity, and a genuine interest in culture, the arts, and international projects.
The position offers direct involvement in a wide range of projects within a small, highly specialized international consultancy, and suits candidates who combine initiative, versatility, and intellectual engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and implementation of editorial and communication strategies across Chinese digital platforms
- Coordinate or contribute to content creation for Red, WeChat, Weibo, Bilibili, and other relevant channels
- Identify partnership opportunities with institutional accounts, KOLs, platforms, and brands
- Contribute to client exchanges, presentations, and content validation
- Support project coordination, editorial planning, and reporting
Requirements
- Native Chinese speaker with excellent English; French is a strong asset
- First professional experience in communication, social media, media, or related fields is welcome, but not required
- Strong knowledge of Chinese digital platforms and social media culture
- Clearly demonstrated interest in culture, arts institutions, or creative industries
- Strong writing skills and ability to engage with cultural content in a thoughtful and accurate manner
- Academic background in communication, media, arts, humanities, or related fields is appreciated
- Good command of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Curious, reliable, organized, proactive, and attentive to detail
- Good team player
