Loonfung House is old-school Hong Kong dining dropped into a Julu-side villa compound -- dim sum trolleys swapped for paper order sheets and a dining room that fills up like clockwork. The menu is sprawling: all the Cantonese yum cha standards (har gow, siu mai, cheung fun, char-siu buns, egg tarts) plus congee, noodle soups, and a deep bench of banquet-style dishes. Dim sum ranges from 23-38rmb; congee from 33-45rmb. The larger restaurant dishes jump into the 100-300rmb+ territory for clay-pot casseroles, steamed whole fish, sizzling beef plates, roast meats. Portions are solid, pricing is honest. Reservations highly recommended.
