This little spot that deals in shochu and reggae is low key one of the chillest bars in Shanghai. The classic Mokkos on Wuding Lu has been around since 2008, and this sequel opened in 2014 and is still great in 2026. Same concept, same solid execution: a vast selection of Japanese shochus distilled from everything from shiso leaf to sweet potatoes, reggae and other laid back vibes on the speakers, and friendly service. The space is bigger than the OG Mokkos though, with seven tables, a private room, a few tatami areas, an outdoor standing space, and a little bit of space to sit on the steps. And thus, it's easier to get a seat here. Shochu drinks generally 40-50rmb, draft beer is 35rmb. Bottles also available.
