You can also add mix-ins and toppings—chocolate chip with dark chocolate, topped with sea salt, homemade peanut brittle mixed in peanut butter cookies, dried cranberries instead of raisins for oatmeal cookies. You get the idea. There's no extra cost for these mix-ins, either.
