On the quiet side of Yongkang Lu, Hello Miss Dong turns out quality, home-cooked Singaporean food every day of the week. The don't do carrot cake, but they have some really good shrimp paste chicken wings and curry chicken. The meat quality is noticeably higher than at other spots around town, and staff are super friendly. On our last visit, a small rescue cat named Mei Mei was hanging out downstairs, curling up on our bags. Warm vibes here. Their Southeast Asian flavors are not quite as strong as say, Food Fusion or Orchard Road, but they make up for it with the homey feeling. Recommended.
