Really decent Yunnan option in a rather drab mall in Xintiandi. The decor is bizarre but the food trumps the fact that they have a 200,000rmb paper horse for sale. Recommended dishes include wandoufen (get that for sure), suanla mixian noodles, the spiced mashed potato thing, the Wa-style beef salad, mushroom dishes, rose petal pastries, and a crispy wild vegetable bing.
