If you're on the hunt for tonkatsu (Japanese deep fried pork chop), this is one of the best in the city. Located in one of Shanghai's finest food courts, the Japanese chain is probably the only tonkatsu spot in town to carry cuts from a special black-haired breed of pig called the Kurobuta (a.k.a. the English Berkshire Pig). You're looking at around 100rmb per person for what one of our food writers called "tonkatsu nirvana." Check our article for more details.
