With its Tiffany Blue interior, Maurya looks nothing like a typical Sichuan restaurant, but they serve some really good, albeit watered-down Sichuan cuisine made with quality ingredients. It's a nice place with good service that you could easily take family, business clients, or a date to. Recommended dishes include the catfish shuizhu yu, dan dan mian, eggplant, and the fish and pork shizitou (lions head meatballs). If you love Sichuan Citizen or Spicy Joint, you'll dig this. It's not super cheap though -- expect to spend at least 100-200rmb per person, depending on what you order. Read more about the place in our review.
