Despite the "bar" part of the name, this is a shop, and it's the only place in China you can [officially] buy legit rakia, that classic Serbian spirit made from fruit. The drink is a bit like a cross between brandy and Choya plum wine, with a potency approaching that of baijiu. The drink here is high quality and beautifully packaged, and comes in lots of accessible flavors like Plum Rakia With Honey, Rasberry Liqueur, Cinnamon, and the classic Williams Pear Rakia. Those who have tasted homemade rakia in the motherland will notice that this juice doesn't burn quite so much. They don't sell it by the glass here, but you can sample as many varieties as you'd like until you settle on a bottle, which start around 300rmb. Super nice staff here. If you're looking for a unique, mid-priced bottle for a potluck / Thanksgiving / house-party, this is a strong look. Take it slow with the rakia -- it's strong, and mixing it with beer is a surefire way to end up in blackout-land.
