Home of a curatorial and creative collective, MAB Society, BANK Gallery hosts temporary exhibitions focusing on cutting-edge contemporary art from China and beyond. Founded by New York and Shanghai-based writer and curator Mathieu Borysevicz, the gallery was originally housed in a former bank on the bund. In 2016, it moved to an unpolished-looking underground space inside a residential compound.
