A coffeeshop (by the LOVE Concept) set in the refurbished front room of a lanehouse off Xiangyang Bei Lu. The coffee’s standard-issue with prices to match, there’s a mix of tables and seats, wifi’s fast, and they have a covered courtyard. The inside gets irregular and enthusiastic makeovers; last time we visited, it was bright pink with a black wall covered entirely in chalk-work by a local artist. The owner speaks great English and has a cute puppy. They do food deliveries from the places across the street in case you’re really on a roll with that novel and can’t survive off the shop’s Strictly Cookies (or LOVE).
