Bvlgari Hotel's sky-high bar-lounge serving cocktails, snacks, all-day breakfast and a top-notch aperitivo. Surprisingly chill for such a lux spot. A list of spirits as long as you'd expect, plus a couple of mezcals, cachacas and piscos (nice), and a trio of 120rmb signature cocktails. The stand-out is the Riverside, which definitely looks like it was scooped from the Suzhou Creek, but is a fantastically herbal thing made with gin and carpano rosso. They also stress their aperitivo, served with drink orders between 5.30-8pm, taking the form of an attractive tray of delicious accompaniments. Bar snacks and all-day breakfast also available. And God, that view. Top three? Easily in the top three places in Shanghai to have a drink and rub shoulders with achingly chill people.
