Haipai Art Museum is more on the spectrum towards public art museum (think Shanghai Mass Art Center). It has a performance hall and some workshops areas, and the exhibition areas focus on Haipay style paintings. Lots of free art space for local kids and seniors. Right now, the museum is the home of a tribute to "the father of Chinese carton" Feng Zikai, and also hosting a more upscale-looking exhibition which features dozens of real artworks from iconic Haipai masters like Qi Baishi and Xu Beihong. The museum is opened to the public for free.
